I have a facial appointment with Shannon over at Cosmetic Creations Day Spa today.
I actually went in last week for a complimentary eyebrow wax, which was offered to me while getting my hair colored by the fabulous Georgi B. Now you know that I am extremely particular about my eyebrows, so it was a huge deal for me to accept…but I am really glad I did. The experience was really strange, but really nice too. It was the first time I had ever had my brows done while sitting in a regular chair in upright position. Go figure. Every single time I have ever been to get a brow grooming, it has always been done with a lay-down chair, a magnifying glass and lots of hair plucking.
I don’t know what kind of wax she used, but it wasn’t hot, it smelled nice, and it didn’t hurt when being pulled off. And she didn’t do alot of tweezer work either, but within 10 minutes, I had perfectly groomed brows, for a typical cost of $22 bucks. Which is why I thought it a good idea to give her a try for a facial too. And I know this sounds mean, but for the same price, although a fantastic facial at the Nail Forum, I just can’t stand hearing the noise from the nail shop right outside.
