My cousin Ericka launched this amazing line of organic lipsticks, and not only are they absolutely safe, don’t test on animals, and use responsible packaging, and the colors look good on ANY and ALL skin tones. This fall, I am obsessing over everything neutral. It’s trendy, it’s trending, and its everywhere. I have 2 lipstick colors that will last me this season (and probably all the way in through Spring). The first one is for daytime, and it’s called The Goodness. It is a matte neutral. I will be posting a bunch of photos on my Instagram account during the week so be sure to follow me there for my mini microblogging posts.
The second shade I have is called Infinite. It is a deep neutral red. Or in other words, SLAY 2015.
I’m all about that perfect red….but this season, again, I’m super feeling the neutral and earth tones, and my reds will also be in that palate. This is definitely a night out lipstick, and I will be giving it a trial run this weekend…on date night! Again, be sure to follow for microblog updates on my SylFabulous Instagram account. After checking out the lipstick page, I notice that they have some colors that are all the rage right now – and I am putting the hot pink Noble, the coral Virtue and the peachy pink Philosophy on my to -do list for the Spring and summer months.

Packaging With a Purpose: Axiology’s lipstick boxes were sourced in Bali, Indonesia, when founder Ericka Rodriguez was visiting the stunning island. Ericka discovered a boutique recycled paper store, and after being impressed and moved by their women-run operation, decided to work with them on packaging.
The paper used in our boxes is collected from all around the island—from hotels, offices and households—and is taken to a small factory. It’s then boiled down to a pulp, laid out to the sun to dry, and finally folded and decorated by hand.
The gift inherent in these boxes is that their production helps trash reduction on the island, a growing concern as its population and popularity continues to rise.

Meet Ericka – She’s FABULOUS, and not just because she is my youngest cousin!
Ericka’s holistic and vegan lifestyle emerged in her early twenties. She became dedicated to creating raw vegan smoothies and natural beauty recipes. Once she realized that natural compounds were rarely used in her favorite beauty product—lipstick—she decided to get in her kitchen and give it a go.
The result became a labor of love and passion-project, Axiology. Combining her commitment to fruitarianism and healthier, safer cosmetics, Ericka spent over a year testing ingredients and concocting the perfect formula for Axiology’s lipstick line.
Her journey took her all the way from Brooklyn, New York, to Bali, Indonesia to study ingredients and packaging options. Along the way she crafted a product that serves kind, vivacious women everywhere who want to look glamorous while giving back.
